This is the Weekend

This is the Weekend

Not everyone is built for this moment
Here’s your weekend pump up email.

The one that is supposed to light a fire.
The one that pushes you to actually go out there and play to your full potential.
The one that calls you into the hockey player you know you are capable of becoming.

And yes, hockey parents, I’m talking to you too.

This could be the weekend you become the parent your player actually needs. The calm presence. The steady belief. The support system instead of the pressure.

This is the weekend!!!

Or maybe I’m being too intense.

Maybe I should relax a little. Take a breath. It’s just a game, right?

We’re only driving five hours.
Spending hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars.
Hotels. Food. Gear. Tournaments.
Why be so intense?

Why believe that one shift could matter?
Why think one good game could change something?
Why even consider that someone important might be watching?

You’re probably right.

This isn’t for everyone.

Maybe this weekend you just coast. Play it safe. Stay comfortable. Blend in with the herd. You can always flip the switch next week.

Or next month.
Or next season.
Next year will be the year.

Right?

Or… maybe you’re one of the rare ones.

The world is quietly begging for rare ones to step up. Players and parents willing to stand out. People with the courage to feel fear and move forward anyway.

Because that’s what it takes.

Courage.
Fear.
And the willingness to confront both.

Maybe that’s you.

I hope so.

We’re a rare breed.

So for the rare ones, this is the weekend it starts.
For real this time.

No more talking about it.
No more waiting.

Make it happen.
Become that person.
